Of note is the Roudina Habitation, which has state-owned land occupied by farmers.

This area used to be part of a settlement called Nouveau Plymouth, which later became the fourth rural section of the commune of Corail. Some of the notable plantations include Lacombe, Massalo, Miramon, Pierre Bénot, Delincourt, Delincourt, Don de l'Amitié, Nouveau-Plymouth, Bassin Bleu - also called Caverne Diable (Devil's Cave), and Lamenbrai. Nouveau Plymouth produced a significant amount of coffee, with young trees that gave up to 6 pounds.
