Savane-au-Lait (English: Milky Savanah) is the fourth section of Ouanaminthe, Haiti.

It was a subdivision of the rural section of l'Acul des Pins. After initiative of Salnave's 1865 Uprising in the Cape, the generals stopped in this rural section: Nepthalie Prophete, Brenor Prophete, Anselme Prophete and Maximilen Prophete, all four, son general Guerrier Prophete, and Louis Jn Baptiste, members of the insurrection. The last, said the newspaper Le Bien Public of December 7, 1865, was, it is said, condemned three times already to the death penalty for conspiring against the government.
