Haiti Local

The Rivière de L'Acul, (English: L'Acul River) also called Rivière Acul-du-Sud, is a watercourse in Southern Haiti.

Etymology[]

The geographical indication "du Sud" brought to the name of the river permits it not to be confused with the toponym Acul-du-Nord.

About[]

The Acul du Sud is a stream flowing in Haiti's Tiburon Peninsula through the Southern Department and the borough of Les Cayes, and becomes a small coastal river which has its mouth in the Caribbean Sea.
