Rivière de Cavaillon is a watercourse flowing in Haiti's Southern Department through the boroughs of Les Cayes and Aquin, and a coastal river which has its mouth in the Caribbean Sea. It crosses the Haitian commune of Cavaillon located on the Tiburon Peninsula.



Geography[]

The river has its source in the Hood Mountain Range, in the Tiburon peninsula. The Cavaillon River flows into the Caribbean Sea, at Baie des Flamands located east of the port city of Les Cayes opposite Île-à-Vache. The course of the river was, at a certain time, modified following important landslides.
