The Libón River is a watercourse flowing in Haiti's Northeast Department and in the Dominican Republic, and a right tributary of the Artibonite River.
Geography[]
This river has its source on the Haitian side of the Cordillera Central.
It receives the waters of the Rivière des Ténèbres during its journey of around twenty kilometers (12 miles) along the border with the Dominican Republic.
The Libon river enters the Dominican Republic and flows 5 kilometers (3 mi.) from the border on the right bank into the Artibonite River.
