The Port-au-Prince Subway (Kreyol: Metro Potopwens) (Port-au-Prince Metro) is a proposed transportation network designed to service the Port-au-Prince Metropolitan Area. The project cultivates multiple strategies transported from a series of simulations in which you develop a city through the management of a rail company.

The Port-au-Prince Metro is a service expansion plan that builds on the existing bus network and identifies opportunities to add new routes and improve the span on existing service. It is a prioritized vision for how SMART will seek to improve the local transit service through 2030.

The first phase of the system is a bus rapid transit system; the second a light rail and the third a heavy rail. Of these phases, the first and second are the most cost-effective.

The Port-au-Prince Metro, in its full phase has 83 stations (75 if stations connected by transfers are counted as single stations). Stations are located throughout the communes of Port-au-Prince, Delmas, Pétion-Ville, Croix-des-Bouquets, Cité Soleil, and Carrefour.

Overall, the system contains 5 lines.

Of the system's 5 services, 3 pass through Port-au-Prince, the exceptions being the B-2, 15-Octobre line, and the E-5, Route des Fréres line. Large portions of the metro are at ground level and operate with dedicated lanes. The lines and stations have both express and local services. These lines have three or four lanes. Normally, the outer two are used for local metros, while the inner one or two are used for express metros. Stations served by express metros are typically major transfer points or destinations.

The 5 metro services each have a route name, color, and a number for local and letter for express designation representing the particular service.

The 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 lines are fully local and make all stops. The A, and E have portions of express and local service.
