Port-Salut💎 (19,098) Positioned on a small peninsula in the southwest corner of the larger Tiburon Peninsula, this small city is considered one of the most appealing places on Haiti's tourist map. It is known for its beaches that are made of white sand, fine and almost sugar-like in texture. Formerly, it was known for its coffee production in the nearby mountains, not far from the Macaya Peak. The region was later converted into the cultivation of vetiver with the manufacture of essential oil.
Saint-Jean-du-Sud(25,567) This small town is part of a region that was classified by Forbes as the 8th ranked tourist destination for small purses. The area is known for the beautiful Zanana Beach as well as its delicious cashews. The local economy is based on agriculture (bananas, cashews, coconuts, mangoes, and pineapples), livestock, and fishing.
Arniquet(29,180) Noted for its charming attractive landscape, this hilly rural town is enriched with resources that make it possible to diversify its commercial sector. The local economy is based on commerce (importing items to the town for resale), raising livestock, and agriculture (plantains, beans, and breadfruit). It is also home to Pointe Sable, a popular tourist area.
