The village of Los Palis, a community established over 60 years ago, is located in a very rural part of central Haiti. Los Palis has a population of more than 350 families and approximately 3,000 residents.
Consisting mainly of dry mountains, Los Palis is located 15 minutes from the city center of Hinche. The life of the inhabitants of this neighborhood has never been easy. They have regularly faced a lack of basic services such as access to electricity, health, roads and especially drinking water.

History[]
The third rural section of the municipality of Hinche was previously called Marango.
