Les Anglais (29,891) Settled by the British in 1774, this small town is built on the edge of the sea in a plain called the "English Plain", so named because of the people that made war in this area during the French occupation. The area knows a pleasant temperature. Agriculture is the main economic force in town with farmlands producing fruits, coffee, and tobacco. This town's position on one of the world's busiest sea lanes gives it incredible potential to be an exporter.
