Haiti Local

La Seringue (English: "The Syringe") is the fourth communal section of Abricots, Haiti.

History[]

• In 1810, Christophe, after the fall of the Mole, sent troops to disembark at the point of La Seringue to join Goman against Petion. These troops submitted to the Republic and moved on to Jérémie.

• The Speback habitation was put up for sale by the law of November 7, 1812 for the creation of a national currency. A beautiful river has the same name at the gates of the city on the road to Dame-Marie. In 1736, the cocoa tree was planted there, which developed extraordinarily well and reached the height of thirty feet.
