La Hoye is a communal section in the Central Department of Haiti. It is the fourth communal section of Thomonde.
History[]
The administration of President Dartiguenave has granted Mr. Henri Brisson permission to conduct a year-long exploration in the La Hoye rural area (then, part of the Lascahobas commune) for the purpose of identifying coal deposits.

Lahoye is home to a staffed and refurbished clinic that Project Medishare has recently been asked to take over in April 2009.
Education[]
An agricultural education project here in Thomonde is part of the only Millenium Village Project in the western hemisphere at this time. Local farmers have been able to collaborate with the Haitian Ministry of Agriculture to improve yields and experiment with learning improved gardening techniques to allow them to grow food in containers.
