Security

La Colline d'Aquin is a locality that breathed tranquility until the year 1997. From 1998 onwards, native Collinois terrorized the hill by murdering and robbing the inhabitants without reason. Seeing that the situation went from bad to worse, it was decided during an agreement to set up an operation in order to find the funds necessary to finance a 4 × 4 double-cab jeep and put it in the service of La Colline police sub-station on May 13, 2000. It was a great moment in the history of Haiti where citizens of a locality decided to take their security into their own hands. Thanks to such an initiative and the goodwill of the 35 Brigade Corps, we were able to curb the phenomenon of zenglendos at the hill. It is a great victory for all the Collinois in France and elsewhere who participated in this operation.
