Jamais Vu

Jamais Vu (English: "Never Seen") is a communal section in the Southeastern Department of Haiti. It is the sixth communal section of Côtes-de-Fer.

In 1875, Jamais Vu was subdivided, giving rise to the rural section of La Ravine.

In 1869, the Cacos of Jamais Vu saw the town of Miragoâne as an easy target, despite it still being under the control of the Piquets.

In 1840, this rural area was a part of the Bainet commune and consisted of 196 well-cultivated habitations and a poorly cultivated one, totaling 197 in all.
