Dumarsais Estimé (1900 - July 20, 1953) was a Haitian political figure. He served as the President of Haiti from 16 August 1946 until 10 May 1950.
He was born in the small city of Verrettes, on the Eastern part of the Artibonite District.
His reign is fondly remembered by Haitian, since he initiated the irrigation of the Artibonite plain and the cultivation of rice in Haiti.
