About[]
Brésilienne has several beaches, although many have never been touched by development projects, or hordes of tourists sunning there. It was founded as the First rural section of the commune of Bainet, Arrondissement of Jacmel. It was subdivided in 1874, giving birth to the rural section of Trou-Mahot of the same commune. It's localities include Hotage, Verche, Massé, Genée, l'Hermitage, and Berna, places on which the State possesses 146 earthen plots occupied by farmers.
The Brésilienne river is dry for 9 months of the year. It flows to the sea between the bays of Bainet and Jacmel.
