Haiti Local

Bolosse (Kreyòl: Bolos) is a hillside neighborhood in Port-au-Prince, positioned above Portail Léogâne on the lower slopes of Morne l’Hôpital. The area combines dense residential zones with active street commerce and several longstanding religious institutions, including the Eglise Baptiste de Bolosse, the Church of Christ, and the STEP seminary. Although affected by chronic drainage issues and periodic insecurity along Avenue Bolosse, the neighborhood remains an important link between the downtown core and the RN-2 corridor toward Martissant and Carrefour.
