1 Baradères☆ (47,060) This small city has a picturesque market square with a large church. The area economy is based on subsistence agriculture, although a small association of subsistence farmers, Kafe Devlopman Barade, began exporting coffee to the U.S. in 2008. From the days of the first European contact, the coast from Baradères to Jérémie has been reputed as a fishing ground.
