Baille-Tourrible (Kreyol: Bas-Tourib) is a communal section in the Central Department of Haiti. It is the third communal section of Thomonde.
About[]
Baille-Tourrible has been described as one of the most isolated places on the planet by relief workers. Totally cut off from everything except the town of Thomonde, not even within range of the nearest radio station, its surprising that the Bas Touribois have not evolved their own language. With no electricity or cars, the people live in a timeless traditional way. Most Bas Touribois rarely travel more than ten kilometers (6 miles) from the place of their birth during their entire lifetime.
